Termitaria

First large scale install using my "Termitaria" pieces. Also used, were some smaller "polyp" type pieces. I have also been experimenting with taking some of these pieces to parks and using them in temporary site specific installs. I plan on adding more of these spire pieces in the future with hopes of expanding the scope and complexity of this install. 

This install, which was on display at Survial Kit gallery, was approximately 10-15 feet long and 3 feet wide with some of the spires reaching about 3 feet tall.

Materials: Cardboard, paint, dye, salt, cotton swabs, fabric, and sand.
