Stars and Nebula

I am a firm believer that not all art has to be serious, but at times, should be fun. So, on a cold winter night in Ohio, my girlfriend and I ventured into the backyard to take these pictures. I had recently been experimenting with dying ice balls and wanted to see if I could make some that reacted to ultraviolet light. To my surprise it worked. It was bitter cold and I am not sure who had it worse, my girlfriend or I. She had to hold the black light while I positioned the ice balls and took pictures. After I was satisfied with taking pictures of the ice balls, I decided to hack off bits of ice with a knife. The result was ice shavings on the snow that resembled star fields or nebula's.
